About the Event
Louisiana One Health in Action's Beating Bartonella Fun Run is a 3k color fun run/walk that will be held in Sulphur, LA at The Grove at Heritage Park. This is the first event for Louisiana One Health in Action, and we are honored to support The Bartonella Project at NCSU. This event will highlight local families that have been through the devastation of a family member diagnosed with Bartonella and their journey for a diagnosis and treatment. It is an effort to raise awareness about Bartonella, and the ways it can be transmitted and prevented. All proceeds will go toward Bartonella research and improved testing and treatment. Local vets, medical professionals, and advocates of public health are encouraged to participate or sponsor.
